This interest leads our group into fundamental studies of processes at interfaces and also into the design of new material properties based on our ability to take advantage of the unique environment that such interfaces present. Currently, I am investigating the effects of different ions on solid-aqueous interfaces under varying pH conditions. These studies aim to deepen our understanding of the fundamental interactions at these interfaces, which can have significant implications in fields such as materials science, chemistry, and environmental science.
